They\u00a0are well-written and easy to understand.\u00a0Here is a description of a shaman: \u201cBlue Rope wore an authentic Kachina outfit. His face was covered with a mask, and his eyes hid behind the darkness of the mask. Under his right feather-winged hand, he carried a small gourd\u00a0bucket.\u201d\u00a0Another is \u201cNext,\u00a0he created man from dust\u00a0and\u00a0woman from man’s rib. God did not think man should live alone.\u00a0But in Navajo stories, the sun had the sole power to communicate, which was a\u00a0big difference in the creation stories. One of the most striking is that\u00a0a\u00a0woman is made with\u00a0a\u00a0man in the Navajo version. They were made under the same buckskin simultaneously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
