One major benefit for Las Cruces Writers members are our regular educational events. These are free for our members. In 2022, these were monthly seminars (see below). In 2023, the seminars combine with critiques and panel discussions.

2 to 3:30 PM: Panel Discussion: What does it take to be an award-winning writer? The panelists are four award-winning writers. Efrem Carrasco, Fenton Kay, Lisa Lucca, and Bob Worthington. Moderator is David Osterhout.

1:30 to 2 PM: Membership meeting
2 to 3:30 PM: Writing Seminar: How to write a query letter to get a sale. The teacher is Bob Worthington who sells books and articles with his query letters 99% of the time.
